Trojans To Make A Push In Region 23 Tourney

Both Men's and Women's basketball teams of Mississippi Delta Community College are set to compete in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament this coming Saturday. Region 23 consists of all Community Colleges in the state of Mississippi and Louisiana. The tournament is slated for 19 teams participating. The first round will consist of three games on Saturday, February 26thfollowed by 8 games of second round action on Monday, February 28th.
The Lady Trojans will defend their home court as they take on Hinds Community College in first round action with a 2pm tip off. If you are unable to make it, Rapid Play Productions, will have you covered with a livestream and play by play on the MDCC Sports Network.

The winner of Saturday's contest between the Lady Trojans and Lady Bulldogs will travel to Coahoma Community College for a Monday, February 28thjump ball scheduled for 6 p.m. The loser will officially be eliminated from post season play.
Men's Basketball will have to travel to Baton Rouge Community College this Saturday for a 6p.m. tip off. Trojan Basketball looks to make a push during post season play.
