The Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans hit the road again tonight as they take on Louisiana Prep at 7 p.m., continuing a demanding early-season stretch.
MDCC enters the contest with renewed momentum after a dominant 109–92 victory over Northwest Mississippi on Saturday, December 6. The Trojans delivered one of their strongest offensive showings of the season, scoring 51 points in the first half and 58 in the second to secure the road win and showcase their developing rhythm on both ends of the floor.
Earlier in the week, the Trojans fell 75–65 to East Central Community College. Despite the loss, Carter Mullins led MDCC with 17 points, while the team continued to get consistent contributions from seasoned playmakers. Recent matchups have also highlighted standout performances from Jordan Comanche, who posted 20 points and 15 reboundsagainst Northeast, and Antron Mason II, who continues to provide steady offensive leadership and distribution for the Trojans.
With Saturday's high-scoring win providing a boost, MDCC looks to carry its improved tempo, confidence, and balanced scoring into tonight's road matchup. The game against Louisiana Prep presents another valuable opportunity for the Trojans to build consistency and close out their road swing on a strong note.
Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. Fans are encouraged to follow along and continue supporting the Trojans as they push forward through their early-season schedule.
